"Whiskey Ed" Houdek first opened the doors to Ye Olde Spirit Shoppe in 1965. Back then he'd deliver mail for the Bayport Post Office during the day and at night he'd work selling fine liquors and wine. The original address of the Park Avenue Liquor Shop was 97 Park Avenue. As the landscape of the city began to change, the original home of our shop was marked to come down.
